Summer 2014 Themes

Kindermusik summer beach ball

Village Infants and 1s

Peek-A-Boo, I Love You: Learn new songs, lullabies, & ways to say “I love you” using touch, Mother Goose rhymes, literature books, & chants.
Busy Days: Set your baby’s day to classical music. Each lesson features new activities and songs you can sing for all the places you go together–the store, the playground, the doctor, and more.

Our Time 2s and 3s

Beach Days: Grab your beach ball, we’re going to the beach! Crabs are scuttling, toes are wiggling, waves are crashing , and the sun is shining. We’ll enjoy favorite songs and dances, do an Octopus Hula, jump on a banana boat, and then snuggle up and happily relax to gentle beach sounds and songs. Beach Days is as fun and restorative as…well, a trip to the beach!
ALL TIME FAVORITE! Zoo Train: Hop aboard the Allee-Allee O! Music, instruments, and stories will take us to polar bears, kangaroos, elephants, monkeys, seals, parrots and more. The Zoo Train storybook and CD will become one of your child’s most beloved Kindermusik treasures.

Imagine That 3s and 4s

Make Believe: Where can you go to see pirates, castles, dragons, dinosaurs, and more . . . all in one place? That’s easy—your imagination! Climb aboard the S.S. Pretend and set sail to imaginary places in the land of Make Believe. You will dance the pirate’s treasure dance, visit Royal Island and the castle of a king and queen, and even meet a friendly dragon.
On The Road: A summer road trip! We’ll sing and play as we travel to the carnival, the cottage, the beach & the campground, complete with a campfire and tent!

Young Child 4-6 years olds

Giggles: Nothing is better than small children with big senses of humor. Word play, tongue twisters, and silly songs are great for our bellies (belly laughs, that is), and great for cognition and vocabulary development, too! We draw on the rich tradition of humorous folk songs and explore folk instruments as we sing, play, and laugh together.
Tell Me A Tale:
Through storytelling, your child will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing, and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multi-cultural elements. All told, it’s an around-the-imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, and more.
